Here are those 12 atc's i made the other night..teabag stamped the back while she was photographing them...so i picked them up tonight, filled them in and left teabag with hers...she will tell ya which one she nicked...
Please Lorraine, chose one as i owe you an ATC.
Nona has the 2nd one on top row
I have the 4th one on top row
All comments negative and positive welcome...

Great set, were you making them for any particular reason or just a task you set yourself?

Re: Ancient Travel series (atc's)
well i needed to make a couple saw this roll of wrapping paper..loved it..had the idea to make a series rather than an edition..no way did i have time to cut exactly same 12 times...
I did a little bit to 3d a bit on each atc. i would have liked to add a bit of glaze to highlight but was frightened to spoil them..
I hope people like them, but i am sure some people will not like the style.
i just enjoyed doing them.

Sue they are so very much up my street, as you must have guessed. They are really superb and you should be very proud of them all. My favs are the third and fourth ones along on the third row. (Shades of Mia, eh, putting them in order!!)
Well done!

once Lorraine has chosen, then Joy...if she would like one for her november atc, i am open to suggestions, i want to see if the person i get in decembers atc permanent swap wants one too...
I did half wonder about submitting a pic of the 12 to a magazine..not sure though

Re: Ancient Travel series (atc's)
I would normally say that altered style stuff is a bit beyond me but these are not that kind of altered, these are gorgeous, and should defo be sent to a magazine. These are more of eclectic art, I don't think there would be anyone who wouldn't like them. I think they would make terrific gifts for men too, who are often so hard to cater for. Terrific.

Re: Ancient Travel series (atc's)
they are just basically unaltered, and i think thats why i liked it..i felt it was cheating at first...but i did them because i liked the effect.
wrapping paper, paper and glue..and card, i liked the 'serendipity' effect of cutting random bits of the same size, i actually managed not to 'plan' each atc

Re: Ancient Travel series (atc's)
At last I've got my Octobers permanent ATC but it was well worth waiting for especially as I got to choose the one I wanted.
Good fun photgraphing them too, sorry about the upside down on Suz.

Re: Ancient Travel series (atc's)
aha, so finally came over here to play!!! what you been doing, gloating over the atc
well the goatster is off to bed i am off to the dentist in the morning..please pray for a painless exit from his grip.
SHOW NO FEAR...just quake quietly... :flower:
however, the more it hurts, the bigger the treat to myself.....
i would settle for a tiny piece of chocolate if it doesn't hurt.

Re: Ancient Travel series (atc's)
Goaty, they're fantastic. I love them.
I don't know why you think you owe me an ATC, hun but I'd still like to have one of these. The 2nd from RIGHT bottom row (two ships) would love to live at my house.
Thank you, so much.
