Thanks to my crafty buddies

Den/Jason bought my post up last night. There was a box parcel and I thought it
was going to be the CJ. How wrong was I ?
Inside the beautifully decorated treasure chest with my name on, was a collection
of cards from like minded crafters.
This treasure chest holds a chestful of wonderful goodies. I cried when I looked
through - what a wonderful gift from you all. I keep picking it up and going through
it. I will post more when I can - this connection keeps thowing me off so I will sign
off now and get an early night.

Thanks to Lorraine for putting it all together; that box is superlushtastic!

We all loved doing it and its all heartfelt. It made it better somehow, being able to do something instead of just wondering and hoping you were ok.

Lorraine is going to put photos up when she can so you will see what wonderful
designs you came up with. It's the most fabulous gift box anyone could have asked for.
The box itself is amazing. Everyone has been admiring it and the contents and they have
been fascinated by the box embellies. I can't thank you all enough - it will be something for me to treasure always.

me too Kim..i must go and visit..perhaps at easter...however..my norty unthoghtful brother who had the pub in Oxford..has sold it and moved to Aberdare..so i cant stay there now..bum!! never mond girls..there is a super premier inn nearby and we all know they do a mean brekky. !!!

so glad you liked the box steph..it was hard keeping it a scret form you...you can imagine that i wanted to tell you just to cheer you up..but Loraine would have set up a lynch party..i would rather a lunch party..so i didn't tell...

It was a lovely idea and a nice alternative to get well cards, which I know you have a lot of too.

Oh I'm so glad you didn't tell me. It would have spoilt a wonderful surprise.

I was thinking steph..we should all come and see you and do your garden for you while you look on..and make us coffee/tea and we will all bring a cake.. :flower:

Bet it was wonderful to see your face when you opened it, Steph! It really worked out well: as Di M said, you already had get well cards from quite a few of us and I know I was wondering myself whether to send a second one as you had been in and out of hospital. This was a much better idea!

Story behind Lily's postcard was that one day coming home from school she was asking if we could watch a film after tea, and I said no that she needed to be in bed on time and that I had a card to do. She asked what it was for and I said a friend was poorly and we were doing postcards to make her feel better.....Lily's response was "Mummy can I make one for Jeff as well" LOL she hadn't heard your name properly but it was so sweet of her to want to do it.

Oh bless her. I love it and you know how I feel about encouraging the youngsters to
craft. So important.
