Re: Advice on project
It's lovely KT, the time off is obviously good for you. Daft question, what is it? Canvas/card?
You could put a name on it, or initial for a door plaque.
It would make a lovely LO style pic for a baby boy, if you put a pic bottom right with a few small swirls or embellies.

Re: Advice on project
You just have to let it reveal itself to you and not try to hard. I would be giving it a little distressing maybe with some white or cream very dried on a cloth and lightly almost not touching the surface and gold or sliver would look nice too but I think blue and silver can be a bit overdone.
It looks like a blue summer sky with all those dragonfly bits on the top if that's any help.
I didn't see what Patty did so can't help on that front.
How did you do the swirly dragonfly bits anyway? I can't zoom in to see.

I've sen this IRL and it's a lovely blue colour and the dragonflies are gorgeous. Like the idea of Karelyn's for a door plaque Kate.

Think the blue paint was called aquamarine still unsure on this and how to go about distressing it??? Can I use acrylic paints to do this??
Celfy - the dragonflies are done with tapestry stamps, its my only set and I use it ALL the time
Re: Advice on project
What you've done there is lovely, the colours are lovely. Could you add photos, quote or poem to it?
