Chocolate Brownies
Look away if you are on a diet!!!
This is soooooo easy.
Put oven on at 190 C (375 F or Gas 5)
Line 20cm square tin with baking parchment.
100g Dark Choc (not cooking choc!)
125g Butter
250g Caster sugar
2 eggs
100g Self Raising Flour
100g chopped nuts (optional)
Melt choc and butter slowly in a pan (no need to do it over boiling water).
When melted take off heat
Add sugar and beat it in
Add eggs and beat them in
Add flour and beat it in
Ad nuts and beat them in
Pour into tin.
Cook for 25 mins
Cut into squares and allow to cool. You can put into fridge for 20 mins if you are desperate whilst you walk around the house or run up and down the stairs burning off the calories in anticipation!!!

Re: Chocolate Brownies
I do this on a regular basis. One way to know if the brownies are done is that the edges of the cake lift away from the edge of the tin.
Very yummy. Must get some more choc again !!!
