Ken and I and chocolate sundaes
Well I made this metal frame at the class on my last retreat and didnt want to give it away, and finally found a special photo to go in it. The chain is from an old necklace and ive been stroking those Tim Holtz tags for too long, time I used one. I had to stick flowers on the frame cos on the poster in the background by my head it said 'b*g**r it'. Anyway, the paper, fittingly is called 'Oscar Wilde - Temptation' and has Wilde quotes all over it - Ken loved Wilde and Temptation seemed fitting as the layout is all about how he always indulged me and encouraged me to indulge myself too, like here where we had just had an enormous roast and he was sure I needed this chocolate sundae too, of course he joined me too.
and here, with more detail of the frame

A good use of a special frame, the letters are very nice too, quite chocolatey looking. Very appropriate in all ways.

I so wish i could do all what you do, how lovely to be able to keep beautiful memories like this. It would be great to make layouts etc of the kids as they have grown up.

I can only just afford beads and things steph, i couldnt afford to buy card making /layout things too lol. Plus, i wouldn't know where to start, whats any good, or what things i would need.
I think i would rather leave it to you pro's lol, i would probably end up in a gluey mess anyhow.

Re: Ken and I and chocolate sundaes
shame Carol, cos you do make lovely necklaces and stuff so Im sure you would be good at scrapbooking too and with the kids you have plenty to scrap and savour.

Re: Ken and I and chocolate sundaes
fantastic LO maria, I love to the frame too, and of course the choc sundaes
Carol you could just start by getting one pad and a few simple embellishments. Or even the kits I reckon. Though I've not done them before myself.
A friend of mine used wall painting canvas say 10x10 to make scrap pictures for the wall. Very nice they are.

Neither did any of us when we started, Carol. Find a better excuse, lol.Bead Queen - Carol wrote: i wouldn't know where to start, whats any good, or what things i would need.
I agree with the cost thing though, although you can start of quite cheaply if you wanted to.
