Kims challenge #9

this is the one i have lifted (copied) from august s issue of scrapbook trends ( uk version)


and here is my version of it

a good way of using up some of my old basic grey die cuts , and papers . and the photo has been enlarged at a store somewhere ,(mum had it done for me just after dad died as it was not too long after this that he died ) and its all pixelly ,,is that a word?
and fuzzy round the edges but i couldn't not scrap it .
as for colours , the photo did not have any colour in it really , mostly beiges and creams and i thought a coloured papaer would make it look washed out so i took the bit of red from dads braces ( he always wore them ) and the floral on my blouse .
take note the full make up and painted nails , i was always like that at one time

and i cant help but laugh at steves glasses , he still has them and puts them on every so often just to make me laugh

Nice lift Kim. Love the way it has been put together.
The thing about some photos is that they aren't perfect and personally I
think that adds to the character of the LO. They don't have to be perfect
to mean a lot.

Had a smile about the make up and nails Kim! I have been so diligent since Kenny has been in the Hospice this time - make up, pretty dresses and nail polish - even some jewellery! Mind you, I take my jeans and Tshirt down there too as I do work in their garden most days.

This is lovely, the papers all go perfectly, I used to do the full makeup too, now and again It goes on, though my nails are usually painted, they're a pearl colour at the minute.
