Patty's #12 - A day in the life of ....

Here's my take on this one - thanks for a good challenge again Kim. For all the nosey parkers, the hidden journally says "I made Ken a solemn promise I would get on with life and this was the start. A lovely stay at Cazaux and on 25th September here's a "sample" of it all -
Ken's seat in the morning sun
The beginning of that garden job
My bedroom tree frog
The membrane arrives
The clearing
Brioche suisse for elevenses
Cheers!"

Oh mum its super of course. Your frogs have now mulitplied Im afraid but the garden still looks super and the brioche is making my stomach rumble (girls, they are delicious). I love the lettering on here and it was worth the effort you took with that. Have you got the date on it somehwere? (you mentioned that you were going to do this on 25th each month and I cant see a September anywhere on this)

can you send me the before photo please so I can do a garden layout of before and after.

Strangely, I thought doing layouts with pictures of Ken on would make me sad, but they don't. It's just as if he was looking out on me giving me the thumbs up for getting on with it (to use his phrase) but sometimes it is just tooooooooooo hard!!

Hmm, must admit I got one out to do last weekend and ended up in a poor way, so have put scrapping the darling man away for a little while.

I'm only just feeling that I'm up to doing the journalling on one I did before he died, that's 3 yr's ago this weekend. It is very theraputic though, I don't think that the tears are a bad thing, but sometimes it's just too much.
Do what you can when you can. These are lovely.
