What papers do you like/ use?

I have been making some cards and things and looking through my papers and they are all so similar without me even realising it.

Lots of blues and purples, small patterns and loads of Daisy Bucket and Bo Bunny.

So, I was just wondering what kind of papers do you like?

I like Bo Bunny papers but have not got a particular fav brand, and did tend to buy pink/mauve a lot but have gradually weaned myself off them lol. Think stripes or checks are probably most useful.

I too have weaned myself off the 'pretty' stuff; I used to like buying it, but struggled to actually use the stuff.

Favourite now has to be Basic Grey . I also like 7 Gypsies, and have some great K & Co stuff; it's not all flowery.

I don't have any particular favourites - more likely to go for
individual papers arther than a particular brand or collection. I use some
of the lighter designs that I won't use for backgrounds, as inserts for
cards I have made.

K & Co almost everything, but I adore blue awning.

BG - fusion and colour me silly and porcelain

Bo Bunny and Cosmo cricket anything distressed

all of crafty individuals.....

mind you, I dont use most of these I just stroke them.

my all time favourites are the

my minds eye .wild asparagus range
and the my minds eye street market collections
also love some of the basic grey but got put off when the sets all became a bit samey

Use or buy?
I like to buy K&Co most ranges and twelve by twelve, Rouge de garance, feely papers too with flock or pearly papers.
I like to use any of those old papermania things we all bought when we couldn't get anything else, and things that aren't to my taste. Surprisingly I can somehow often make them look Ok. Perhaps they're ok when there's just a small bit of it.

I just like to buy any nice papers that catch my eye, but very seldom use any LOL

I don't have a firm favourite either, I'm liking some of the basic grey and Bo Bunny have some lovely papers, Cloud 9 have some beauties out at the moment, I love the Christmas range and chocolate chalet range.

I used to love K & Co. but they've gone more classic, either that or my taste has changed.

My Mind's Eye, BoBunny, American Crafts and some sets of BG but less as time has gone on and likewise I tend to buy and not use which is just ridiculous, I have a beautiful Bo Bunny set and have used one sheet!

Goodness I don't have particular favourites I guess, though i do like my pinks and purples. I find that if the mood takes and I sit to make a card its nearly all those colours.

What I did realise over Christmas though, was that my bit draws, with odds of card and paper etc were too full, so I sorted them out, cut some shapes in prep and am now determined to go through each draw and reduce the oddments, I will dig out stickers and embellies etc to make them.

I think that's called Crafters Syndrome Celf !!!!

am i a heathen, no-one else has mentioned the DCWV...Design with a view. i love them, but there u go, i love most papers, not a fan of basic grey as a whole but have really liked some.
