Two from this Morning

First card is from Me to Martin. The helmet is a shrink plastic image coloured with ProMarkers and put on jump rings and clasp for Martin to add to a keyring. I had to colour a white paper brad as I didn't have any yellow ones. The background is silver mirror board. Have decided to let Lily make hers for him herself. With guidance I'll put pic up of that when its done. Background looks pink, but its actually red !!



Card for Cousin's Daughter. I do love Pepper I used the embossing folder for the strip and primas and gems for flowers. The gems are from a phone decoration set I bought and I just slice off the single gems as I need them. Far cheaper that way, and I don't mind putting them on cards to people who might throw them away !!!!!

They're smashing, Karin. I love that helmet. You did a great job with that.

Smashing cards. Like the helmet too, never tried promarkers on shrink plastic - handy to know they work.

the one thing I did realise after though Di was that when I was pressing on the back of the shrink plastic to flatten it straight from heating, I lifted the pad I was using and pressed down again. When I lifted it finish, some of the blue had smudged onto the helmet white. But....it has since dried fine and ...a rubber rubbed the smudges out. Brilliant stuff. A proper pencil rubber.

Two lovely cards - I love the top one. I often put charms/keyrings etc on my cards
and ATCs. I think they add a special something. I have just made a motorbike
card for my brother later this month, and just done Kim's challenge of 7 letters
with a picture of that same brother on his motorbike.

Ooo not seen the challenge pic, will go have a look. I seem to miss them, a couple of mine seem to have not been seen or its just that they slip off the end of the list

I can't imagine you posting some work and nobody commenting. Are you losing posts or something? because I can't remember seeing any of yours.

Lorraine, I've posted a few in the challenge YOU CAN DO IT, but sometimes when I think it should have been on the 'viewing' list its not there. Probably just me missing it !!! I think sometimes when my pc been on a while on the home page, if I haven't clicked the list for a bit it refreshes itself. LOL

There is one pic with lots of views but no comments, just figured people busy thats all. But its not the best of work, it was just doing the challenge

Great couple of cards, I am a devil for not looking in the other section. My plan for tomorrow, search other parts of the forum for pics!

same goes for you Ruth, your cards are an inspiration to me, well most people on here are, but yours seem to follow the sort of cutie or techniques and lines that I love. As is evident in one of two of mine you'll see elements of a LO in them.

Karin, one thing about the number of views. Most of them will be from guests - we actually get loads - and they are banned from writing. I've got them as read only. It may be that no regular members had actually even seen them.

DH just walked by the computer when I viewed the cards, you got a very nice for the motorbike one as he's into them too. Both cards are smashing and I have to agree I love the bike one and especially the helmet.

Thats ok hun, I wasn't complaining, honest injun, I know we are all busy and I am as bad, sometimes I go look at threads really quickly then don't get chance to go back and comment...esp during the day.

Gillian, tell him thanks Martin has a yellow yamaha virago, and this stamp is perfect as its a twin 'v', going to make a few with this stamp (but not the helmet LOL ) to put in my box.

That's interesting. Never thought about other folk 'loitering'.
I always think it's just us, but of course, anyone can read it can't they ?

I know thats why sometimes I worry about what I say, mainly because of the ex-friend who was a nosey so and so and always admittted to me when she was spying on other people she didn't like.

Plus I always always name photos something obscure now, I realised a couple of years ago that I put a picture up of Lily and put her first two names as the title. Out of curiosity I decided to google her name and her picture was on the second page.....it scared me a bit that someone strange might see it. So now I might say...the little lady or something instead.
