challenge #8

here is my efforts for challenge 8 ,i found it a toughie ,not an easy one to do at all .nothing about the sketch went together well but i had a go .i just could not work with those squares in the sketch so changed them for flowers ,i dont know if this is acceptable for the real challenge site or not ,but hey ho !

Lovely Kim, like the colours you have used.

The Promarker challenge is run on FB, they put a sketch etc on for you to use. Lou and Ruth are part of the design team. You have to post a link to your card via your blog.

They do have a facebook page, but THIS is the link to the actual challenge blog.

As PM's are so popular now, this category was asked for and added to the forum.

Kim, it was a tough sketch. I struggled with it. A few people haven't really followed it as it should have been so I think everybody found this one hard. Not only a sketch but a theme too.

I like yours. The colours are super.

that swirly green backing paper is velour and total gorgeousness itself ,thats why i have 5 sheets of it .

I didn't exactly follow the sketch with mine, I forgot the bits at top right and bottom left, think you did great Kim, it was a difficult sketch

on some blogs you can have put your challenge card in via a link put in using your email address,but dont know about this one . ruth and lorraine may know .you can put the sketch on your blogs though cos i did ,but unsure if its protocol to put it on another forum iykwim

As far as I'm aware, you can't enter the I love Promarkers challenge by email, although a lot of challenge sites allow it.

We could have a challenge here, Steph but I'm wondering if we have enough going on at the moment. What does everybody else think?
It would have to be our own though.

I meant just for us. Only if the interest is there.

no email entries yet for I ♥ Promarkers as there aren't enough people entering yet so we need more of a blog presence. A blog is easy enough to set up though, you can keep them very plain and simple.

This is my card anyway

I'm not posting mine 'cause it was bl**dy awful, lol.
I will show you next weeks though, 'cause I love it, ha, ha.

Thanks for response to question. I think I understood what Kim was saying. Too much hassle to have a blog though, just something else to have to try and keep up todate would prefer something on here maybe, esp after the retreat.

You all put your pics here to show us when they are done... so....

How do you think they would feel if you linked to their challenge post, and then we just used the sketch and put our 'tries' on here. We wouldn't be interferring in their blog/site etc., but it would mean more people are viewing their sites so isn't that a good thing.

Never mind, just realised that it would mean more work for someone else having to update this thread/index all the time. Some lovely cards though peeps, you really are clever.

Love the card Ruth - so much going on with the backgrounds,
the bird, the swirls etc and it all totally works - I love it.

It's easy enough to post the sketch here, once it is on the blog it is out in the public domain and as long as we give credit back, we don't have a vast number of Promarker users here so it's not going to make any difference to the blog although anyone who has a blog and wants to have a go from here obviously it's preferable for you to use your blog
