Bookbinding.. Empty Bookbinding..

Post by Lorraine Sun 11 Apr 2010 - 21:10

Just a thought, girls. If you want to get your pages folded before you come it would be a good idea and save a lot of time.

I've got a load of A4 sheets and it would take some time to fold them in half, so I'm going to do it before and then we can get right on with the stitching.

Lou once the sheets are folded do we need to cut them in half? Or do we sew them down the middle??

Lorraine, getting back to the subject at hand Mr Green Do we just fold them as is, or are we folding in sets of 4. You mentioned before about division by 4 thats why I ask.

They will be in fours, Karen yes. So if you want to put them together after folding individually, that's fine.

Is there a specific width, I should have done this earlier, just realised my bandage is probably the wrong sort, it seems very tick, will go and do another raid on the first aid cupboard

ruth, Lynda has some bandage she is bringing. I've not got any at all so will be begging her. She did say she had a lot of anyone wanted any. Also Patty has mountboard.

My ribbon is about 12mm wide, so probably enough really, its only a small book (A6), so three pieces spaced should be right.
