RETREAT PROJECTS - BOOKBINDING Empty RETREAT PROJECTS - BOOKBINDING

Post by Guest Mon 19 Apr 2010 - 13:58

Lorraine tutored us to make a fabulous book. I was very very pleased with
mine and am going to try and make one for each of my grandchildren with their
name in the covering papers. It was really really good fun and I think everyone
felt so satisfied when they had their own book.
The poppy book was mine and I love it. Not a brilliant photo-sorry.

These are everyone else's books.

RETREAT PROJECTS - BOOKBINDING 039

I'm not sure whose is whos but I'm sure they can add who did what.
Top row, 2nd in with the birthday cakes was made by Jo and she added a fabulous cake
charm to the bookmark.
2nd row - my poppy book in the middle, the one on the left with the
pussy willows is Goatys and the pretty one the other side of my book is Ruths.
Not sure about the others. Again - sorry for the poor piccie.

and Mine's the pink smaller book. I added a flower to the corner whilst there, and am going to do a letter K to go on the front. This first one is mine to keep for ever and ever. Not gonna write in it though Mr Green

Thanks Lorraine for a fabulous lesson, one we have all loved doing and will remember for years to come. xx
