RETREAT PROJECTS - Photo swap

I hope others will add photos of their items to the threads I have started.

This is the LO I did for Karin for the photo I got for the swap. Karin and Lily are
at the aquarium and I didn't have any fishy paper so went for colours instead.

I thought this was lovely Steph - I am sure Lily will love it too!

She did. It was perfect, absolutely perfect ( and I did get a bit emotinal at seeing it). The colours in the paper were a bang on match for the Yellow Tangs in the background.

I wanted this picture doing as so far I haven't done any LO of just me and her.

Lovely layout, papers go well with the photo.

I liked all the brads you used to make the lace into flowers at the bottom, well that's what they put me in mind of anyway, the colours were bang on and the papers just right for this pretty pair.
I thought it was nice to see the names on the LO too as people often don't put their own names in their LO's.

I thought the shell was very clever.

Here's the layout Cath did with my photo of Tim and I when he was but a lad!!

I loved the way Cath did the seashells by curving them.
Very effective.

this is the LO I did with the photo from Dawn. Had to ask if anyone had Alph stamps and it was Dawn who did.LOL

Oh I didn't notice the stamp bit on the edges of the striped paper. All the LOs were lovely, so well done. Its nice that we all put so much thought and effort into it.

both lovely - love the little frame in the one Cath did for mum, and the shells of course, and what a fab photo of the alamo, Id love to go there, was it interesting Dawn? Lovely job anyway, both of you.

This is the LO Patty did for me. It was taken from when we went on the Rhine quite a few years ago. It was a misty day and I like the paper Patty used to show this.

The photo swap LO's were all fabulous. I don't think anybody could have been disappointed by them

All lovely layouts, everyone put such a lot of thought into them.

This was Kate's LO for me for the photo swap.
I think she did a fantastic job.

These are all gorgeous, I'm in awe at what you've done at the retreat as I only work on my own normally, I'm not sure I'd be able to work with all of you lovely people around, I'd want to watch you all and talk

I've never crafted like that before either Gill. I didn't mind working with people round me,
but it is distracting because you want to see what everyone else is doing

Thats what I did on the afternoon most of the time Gillian and the Sunday LOL.

This is the lovely LO Jo did with DD's pic, a bit scary the pink she has on, but Jo was very enterprising and it's great, we're both really pleased with it. I still haven't done the journalling, but I will, I promise.

It's smashing isn't it? I like the torn paper bit.

Maria the Alamo was very interesting to look around. I didn't really know much about it before we went , but found it fascinating.
The LO Alison did for me is great.

I found it quite difficult to do a LO with someones else's photo , especially as I got Kim's and she was sitting next to me!
