Scatty, Steph and Tina - all here. All very different from what I was expecting. Love what you've done Tina, Steph...just gorgeous and Alison, apart from the fact that you've woven paper instead of ribbon it's really lovely.

I got it idea from this lot and they call it weaving.

wasn't sure if it was a bit ornate.

Almost, but cos I had two ribbons i just worked out how to start it off then did two, it looks fab done that way with the two tone ribbon, you know the ones that are different colour each side. I think it would be great on kids hair bands and hair clips, sure thats where I have seen it years ago. It really is quick to grow.

I didn't weave my ribbons together - I weaved them onto something, but not together,
and I did cut them. Glad they got there okay as I forgot to take a photo.

Argh, now I'm worrying. I posted mine yesterday, first class, fully sealed and with postage inside and from what I can see on this thread it hasn't arrived. You've mentioned a few that came butnot sure if they were from yesterday or today. Did mine arrive Lorraine. It definately went in the post yesterday along with Dawn's ATC.

Awww thats not fair. I posted it at our local asda, they have a post box at the entrance, the closest thing we get to a post office in there. Usually do post from there and not had probs before.

Not a problem - we've all had postal problems at some point or other.

Awww no, am gutted. This is the first time I've really lost something in the post thats handmade. My ATC got to Dawn, so can only assume its still on its way.

I put the coin for postage in the little baggie with the ribbon and then had a squish of it when it was in envelope, so I don't think anyone will have thought, oh is money I'll take it. I couldn't tell it was money.

I am really really sorry its stopping everything going ahead. I really hope it turns up tomorrow.

Don't fret so Karin, its in the post so out of your hands. The time it was me I had the dates wrong and no way of getting online for anyone to tell me I was late, Doh.... so your not alone in them not getting there.

I can't believe that I've been making a consious effort to be in on time with the swaps and the flaming post office cocks it up. My parents card to Lily for her birthday was posted same day as a disc to me and her's took 6 days to arrive, yet the disk arrived next day. Whats the point in paying for something that we don't blooming well get.

If mine does arrive in the end then please just send back to me and I'll use it.

My ribbon swap arrived this morning (separate PM about the other stuff Lorraine!) Who did this lovely pink one (self-adhesive too) as it had no name on it? Anyway, it is lovely work - thanks to Lorraine for organising this swap too of course.

I'm really pleased you like it(hope you aren't just being polite ) - I wasn't sure if I had made it a bit ornate. I liked it but I know some folks don't like too much decor.
