February swap - Ribbon
Another nice, easy swap this month: anything which includes ribbon. For example, a card or other piece of work with ribbon as one of the embellishments; a sewn piece with ribbon trim or a ribbon drawstring; woven ribbons made into a lavender bag or pincushion; or, if you run out of time or don't have any ideas, send your swapee a gift of some nice ribbons which they can use.
Sign up by 18th February (sorry - am away 20th -22nd), item to be posted by 27th.
I will put the names down in a different order from last month's swap, even if you sign up in the same order, to make it easier to assign swapees.

Re: February swap - Ribbon
Oh go on then however please don't send me just ribbons, I have just gotten rid of a load of them and still have lots left and I don't use them very much these days, sorry to be a pain, anything else with ribbon on is perfectly fine and this will give me a reason to use ribbon!
Re: February swap - Ribbon
Will remember to remind your swapper of that, Ruth!
Putting both your names down, Lorraine and Ruth.

Re: February swap - Ribbon
LOL @ Ruth, so if someone gets an envelope made entirely of ribbon they'll know who it's from.

Buy yourself one lot of ribbon, make something, and maybe you'll be the one to receive a pack of them, Billie!

LOL, Jo! Will add your name.
Any more for this swap? I could finish the sign-ups earlier if there's not. Kim? Di? Billie? Cynthia?

Oh, no, Lorraine! What a disappointment. Was it just that it didn't turn out how you wanted?

Re: February swap - Ribbon
Sorry, Lorraine, girls - this completely slipped my mind before the weekend (not surprised). Yes, you are posting to the one below your name and Lorraine to me. Pity we didn't get more signed up for this.
Actually, I don't even know what to do yet, so goodness knows how I'll get it ready for the 27th!

Re: February swap - Ribbon
I was planning to do mine today but I went to the opticians this morning and because one of the initial eye things he did got him wondering, I had to have dilating eye drops. Only take an hour for my vision to sort itself back out again, he said. He lied, it's only now that I can see straight! I have spent most of the afternoon doing my jigsaw as that was the only thing my eyes could cope with, tried crafting, got a headache, same with using computer, reading and tv watching. Oh and I also chased up engineers. So frustrating. I can't craft in the evenings but I will work on it on Saturday and have it in the post for Monday, so sorry to my person (should check that I suppose)
Re: February swap - Ribbon
That'll be me Ruth. I'll let you off. I had to have those drops often with the ulcer I had, so know how you feel.
Re: February swap - Ribbon
We always make allowances for medical things on swaps, Ruth, so please don't worry - you weren't to know the optician was going to mess things up for you!

Steve posted mine this morning, too. I wanted to make a box for it to go in, but it was enough of an effort just to get it done!
