recent layouts from Maria - image heavy
Ive been doing a bit of scrapping recently, found it quite therapeutic and nice to do in the evenings instead of just watching telly. It took me an age to get started and I have to be in the mood, but well, its a start.
Brax doenst look like this now, and she's learned to swim pretty well but I enjoyed doing this layout and im so glad Twiz got to see her actually swimming. We had such fun on this day, trying to teach her to go in. Its a TP kit but I found the little booklet very cathartic to write the sad stuff in.
and these photos were taken in the summer when our french class went on a tour round town and the teacher pointed out the remains of the city wall from 11th century, lurking round the back of the post office - we had all walked past the concreted front of this thousands of times. Afterwards we passed some happy hours in the tutors lovely garden.
and here's my lovley brother, who has been such a support - photo was taken a couple of years ago at mums and Ive been meaning to scrap it for eons. Feel closer to him now, and more like it
and finally the storms of 2009 where we lost so many trees. Some are still lying there but you can see in the photos how the conifers are all uprooted in a row like dominoes. This was the one I started with, a nice neutral subject.

Ooooh, Maria. They're gorgeous.
Wow! What a start to getting back to it.
The papers are all fabulous and loads of pics too.
Well done, hunny.

Wonderful layouts Mia - especially love the one of our Tim. He never changes, does he? Well done getting going again - it does my old heart good to see all these.
Tell you what girls, she even taught me a new technique last night on Skype too. Something about old dogs/new tricks springs to mind.

Smashing pages Maria. I like the soft colours in the first one, go so well with the photos.
Amazing seeing all those trees down.

Oh these are lovely!! I'm so pleased to see you scrapping again Maria. I love them all, but I'm going to do a 'you' and pick a favourite....the 'history lesson'; that font is just perfect and I love the colours.

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date

I love the papers you use, nice to see Tim too another part of our forum family.
These historical finds are fascinating aren't they. Great work. V sad about the trees I love trees and find it very sad when they are felled.
