The Complete Cardmaking magazine, it had a CD in it and there are some good things on it but when I tried to print out some of the pictures they came out full size ie; A4 size and I can't see how I'm supposed to make them smaller, I don't know if its the CD or my computer, oh how I hate this damnd Vista.

sorry no, I would try opening them in my photo editing package and print what size you want, or can you copy them to word?

Or insert them into Publisher and then you can do whatever size you like, and the pages have rulers round top and sides to help you with the sizes.

Isn't word in works?
Picasa is supposed to be a good free package, haven't used it myself as I'm happy with the MS Picture it 9 that came with my pc *** years ago and I still have on disk.

word and works are seperate word processor packages, but with works you can save the document as a word doc. Thats what our new laptop has anyway.

Billie my dad downloaded a programme for me the other day and it has a word proc, spreadsheet, database etc, all for free.

http://www.openoffice.org/ click on the link that says I want to download openoffice.org, then click the download and follow instructions.

The word processor actually has the facility to open any document be it works, word or something else. Its a good one.

My dad has worked with and in computers for years, once built his own, so I trust him completely onthis one. Hope it helps

Don't know if open office has a photo package in it but you should be able to open a picture in the word processing part and resize it.

Vista has paint but paint.net is free and has more functions

Paint.net is good, Billie and also The Gimp, hun.
Both free, both with loads of tutorials out there.
