MINI POCKET BOOK - March 2011

This months swap is to make a mini pocket book out of one sheet of 12 x 12 paper. Double sided works best, but it's not necessary.
You can decorate any way you choose and you do NOT have to put something in the pockets, but it is entirely up to you.

Gonna say no this month, only because I have wedding save the dates to do and get started on other wedding bits. Sorry, I really like doing the last one. Think it was the garden one that went to Patty.

I've nearly finished mine: had to give up last night as the light went and I couldn't be sure of matching my colours. Can't believe how quickly I've done it!

I've been having probs with light in this loft too, but I actually managed to find my daylight bulb from when I used to cross stitch, so its in my desktop spot lamp.

The book is very easy and quick to do, Karin, and if you're only embellishing it then that shouldn't take very long, either. I'm not putting much on mine, as the pattern on the paper is very strong, so I'm doing things to go in the pockets instead and that's taking some time. Why don't you try making just the book to see if you think you'd have time to do the swap and, if it's quick enough, you could put your name down. If not, you'd have to book for another purpose some other time.

I'd love to Lynda, but with the workshop, forms to fill, insurances to sort and the wedding stuff I'm already stretched. Daren't promise it. I've been horrid with being on time this year so far.

Not going to jopin in this one, i have some catching up to do with other crafty things, dare not say yes, although i would love to. x x

Just finished my book and am quite pleased with it (unlike last month's). Can't believe how quickly I did this!

ive chosen my card /paper ,and its lying on my desk ,i have trimmed it to a square 12 x 12 as i remember finding that a normal sheet is not a true square last time and it was a bit off centre ,so this time its been trimmed . hopefully it will all go together better than my lavender and lace one

Lynda, your book arrived the other day and I'm so sorry I didn't let you know before. I meant to, but I forgot. It's great and I love that you put things in the pockets too.

Also, thank you so, so much for the absolutely beautiful tag book you made for me. It's gorgeous. I shall take a pic to put up as soon as I can. It's on my desk in front of me and I love it. Thanks ever so much, hun. xxx

When everything happened that happened this week, I felt like the ground should swallow me up (the others will see what I mean when they see the tag book). Then I was worried whether it had arrived OK, but of course I would never, ever have asked you with all that was going on.

Will explain about the tag book when you put up some piccies: one of my rare flashes of inspiration. All I can say is - you deserve it.
