Fabric Bond.
I need the one that you iron on but with adhesive only on one side. All I can find is the double sided ones.
I've got one of those square tears in the back of my coat, so I reckon I could fix it with a little bit of this behind the tear, but obviously don't want it to stick to the lining.

Re: Fabric Bond.
You should be able to find one of the Vilenes which are only adhesive on one side, Lorraine: if you go for a thin-quality one it won't affect the hang of the coat. Alternatively, use the double-sided-adhesive bond and put a very fine piece of fabric on the side which will be next to the lining.

Re: Fabric Bond.
You're welcome, Lorraine. Done all sorts of strange stuff with Bondaweb and Vilene at Embroiderers' Guild in the past, otherwise wouldn't have thought of it!

Re: Fabric Bond.
Boyes sell it I think, but can't think if you have one near by. When Rosie wanted double sided she could only find single, lol.
Re: Fabric Bond.
Oh - was in there today, Jo: if I'd thought, I could have popped upstairs and got some for Lorraine. Didn't see your post till just now.
