October 2012- Zentangle Swap

October's swap is Zentangles. I had to look it up but I doubt anyone else will but here's a link anyway http://www.zentangle.com/, when Tina did this swap before the rules were 4 ATC size (2.5" x 3.5") so if everyone is happy to do that again then that's what we'll do.

Just been looking at a few pics online and there are a few things I wasn't expecting.

Do you guys pencil first then go over in pen, or just go for it?

Mine would look like scribbles rather than anything else, so I think I'll sit this one out, Ruth!

I don't see why you can't colour parts of them in, they are online, and also was chatting to Kate today and you only need make 2 unless you've made 4 already. No idea re the pencil question as have never done one before

When we did them before we just did them with a pen, well i did karilyn. I think if you did them in pencil first you would have to be very exact after with the black pen.

I am trying but have only got about two thirds of one done so far, so will not be able to get them to you by Weds, any chance of an extra day? I think I'll have to go for the suggested minimum of 2.
I might manage to finish this one at lunchtime tomorrow, but still have another to do in the evening around the church council meeting, can't do it there as I'm taking the minutes!
So sorry, the wedding has taken more of my time than I imagined, well that and kids coming and going etc. Trying to fit too much in.

As its only the 4 of us I don't mind if the swap runs a little late, I mean October doesn't technically end until next Wednesday anyway

Me too, I've been wondering when the postie would bring me something lovely. I hadn't realised that Pat had lost some and hadn't got yours to post through Ruth's door KT.
