Help! I know I'm a wimp, but I'm scared about breaking my Cuttlebug, which I don't use that often and so I've not yet encountered this.

Have bought a couple of Craft Concepts embossing folders: they are nearly the size of the Cuttlebug plates, so bigger than usual, and almost as soon as I start rolling the sandwich through I get a very vicious resistance - moreso than I've ever got before. It just feels as if it will break if I force the handle round further.

They are the same thickness as the Cuttlebug folders, and I've checked on a few sites that it's the same cutting sandwich, so it's not that. Can I just push on regardless?

Lynda

I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are in alphabetical order, just like they should be.

Yes, and don't worry if it makes a horrendous cracking noise, mine does from time to time and it hasn't damaged anything. I'm not sure if I have any craft concepts folders, just googled and I'm sure I have a few, hold on, I'll go see how they do...
No problems Lynda, I used the white base and 2 B plates, I tried the Flutterby, Sycamore, Woodgrain and Dandelion Whispers folders, all went through fine, are you folding your card under the folder? I just put it through open.

Mine work OK too. Try the sandwich Karelyn mentioned and if it doesn't emboss deep enough, you should be OK to just push a bit.
