Distress Inks
Don't think it was picked up in Incidental, so will ask here. For those of you who use Distress Inks, if I had to choose just 7 or 8 colours, which would they be?

Thanks, Kate: will be interesting to see if anyone else has some different ideas.

Re: Distress Inks
sorry, not much help from here; I have several different purples (bought for me), the first two from Kate's list and something Velvet, which is a lovely pinky red.

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date
Re: Distress Inks
Was leaving it to the authority on the subject ;)
I'd certainly go for the black soot, having trouble narrowing it down to 8
I'd pick them in groups of three shades of the same colour but not as follows as these aren't groups of 3
I like the crushed olive,
brushed corduroy,
peeled paint,
walnut stain,
worn lipstick,
broken china
and pumice stone which is a bit of a a non colour, beige/grey but handy for just a hint of shadow.

Re: Distress Inks
I got Spiced Marmalade, Black Soot, Mustard Seed, Fired Brick, Faded Jeans, Crushed Olive (couldn't get Peeled Paint), Walnut Stain and Brushed Corduroy, all as re-inkers for approx £2 a bottle (girl in US I'd just bought something from had them).
Thanks for all the advice.
