Re: A few Steampunk pics
I have also decided I love corsets, lol. Never had backache all weekend and they make you look so slim, lol.
Re: A few Steampunk pics
yes i prefer the one you say jo purely because the light is on both your faces so you can see them properly , great for a frame .

Re: A few Steampunk pics
Funny you should say that, Jo, as I was just thinking how good you looked in the corset as I was going through the piccies. Great pictures, thanks for putting them up.

Wow! You both look fantastic. A bit of work in those costumes, Jo. Super. As for the pic for the frame, yep! the one you like.

Re: A few Steampunk pics
Yes its Rosie,lol.
It was Steampunk at the ASylum, held in Lincoln for three days. its the 5th yr and the biggest Steampunk Festival in Europe. If you google you will find loads of fab pics. We promenaded all around the cathedral/castle area in Lincoln. Was great fun, there were over 2000 Steampunks and hundreds of 'normals' too. Never had my photo taken so much. Watched wacky races and jet pack racing in the castle. We went to a comedy night and saw a band. Went to a Tea duelling finals which was hilarious. Went to an 'illicit' market which was also hilarious. Lots of SP market stalls and met some lovely people. Will do it again.
It didn't take us that long to sort out costumes, most of them are from charity shops so didn't cost much. Rosie made me the Goggles in the last pic for Christmas once. The picture I like was taken outside the Assembly rooms. It was the night of the ball and we went to watch people go in as the costumes are amazing. we didn't have tickets for it. It was like paparazi outside and they wanted to take our picture, so I said they could if they did one for me,lol.
