It was the "best laid plans" thought that made me have the idea for this one, Ruth! Will put your, Joy's and Claire's names down - thank you all for joining.

I have given this serious thought and come to the decision to sign up for this please, as the card kits are taking me so long to do, there is so much cutting out.

Add me too hun please, I am already panicking about making enough for family and a few to sell at a school. If I get chance to I may just send out a few special ones, but then of course I would end up feeling guilty about sending to only a few !!! but at least if I don't get chance this one has helped. A good idea by the way.

Will add you all to the list - thanks for joining.

Now come on, the rest of you girls and boys - this is an ideal way to take the hassle out of Christmas cards! Even if you are hoping to make lots of cards for your crafty friends on here, this would only be one extra if you did manage to make them all or, if you didn't, you can breathe a sigh of relief because you will have sent your wishes to everyone through this swap.

Now the thread has closed, I will work out who sends to who and will PM you all individually, as it would be nice for the recipients to have a surprise.

If anybody comes on this evening who is not on the RAKs list, would you let me know your full name and address, please. Otherwise, I will ask you when I PM. Thanks.

Have got Gillian's PM and will add her to the list. Haven't done the swapping list yet, as I've been sidetracked again by my ill-fated pension errors: will try and get it done by tomorrow at the latest.

You should all have had a PM from me by now, telling you who your recipient will be and supplying addresses where people aren't on the RAKs list. If anyone hasn't received a PM, please let me know.

The posting date of 8th December was picked to make sure the cards were mailed in good time before the last posting dates - if any of you have any problems meeting the date, please PM me. I know that all sorts of things can happen - health problems, family crises etc etc - and especially at this time of year when we're all so busy. It won't be the end of the world, but it's a good thing to let the recipient know.

When the cards start arriving, Lou tells me she will make a new forum in the Hosted Swaps category: go into that and start a new thread for the picture of the card you have received and its message.

Looking forward to seeing the cards now!

You can post that you've sent the card if you wish, Maria - and you can mail it when you like. After all, 8th December isn't that far away, anyway!

Can I just say that if folks have got a card from me with the Canny Crafters poem in
it, that is a personal card from me and nothing to do with the swap.
Patty if you have received your proper swap, something is wrong as I am due to
send yours and I haven't done so yet!!

Gosh - these were only posted yesterday and am impressed some have filtered
through today. Hopefully everyone else's will arrive over the next few days.

Yes I did make the poem up Kim - not perfect, but I felt it was 'us' as
a group. As I said, these cards have nothing to do with Lynda's swap.
