well, I must say i found this a piece of cake Lorraine, so I have to beleive you are right that despite what i myself think, maybe my layouts DO tend to be minimal, because this one seemed, well, normal to me. Youve proved your point! I didnt want the grass to grow under my feet so I got straight on with this.
I really enjoyed doing this and am pleased because I can use it to replace in my album a very amateur layout of the village that i did early on. You cant really see in this photo but in real lif in the round one, facing away from the village, you can see the mountains quite clearly.

This almost reminds me (not that I was there at the time) of what a Victorian
scrapbook page would looke like. It's got a really oldy worldy feel to it and it's
lovely.
