UKS weekly challenge; Craft card, misting and use the sketch, not that thrilled with this but job done.

Maria and I both did this class and neither of us stuck strictly to the instructions, the topic given was everyday pics of home (or something like that)

2nd Lo from same class, not thrilled with the title, but so far haven't the energy or inclination to change it.


The sketch challenge, I turned it 45 degrees


Lovely papers, the class was gilding, we decided that it wasn't worth the effort or expense as the effect wasn't that different to using embossing powders, good to have tried it though, I have a little pot of them here and never got round to using them, not sure I'd use them like we did here, for stamping and covering card cogs, not very successfully.

Mum's parents and uncle, not sure who the lady on the R is, need to check with Mum before adding names.

Fab pages, I like the first one with the house papers a lot

I hated that scribbly writing so did mine on black card and liked it better. I hadnt read the bit about taking photos of the home so I had a pic of Jemma instead.

ditto what Karelyn said about the gilding and it makes a heck of a mess.

Loved the retreat though, especially being next to Karelyn, we had a blast and she was always handing out chocolates or wine it seemed.
