Exploding box dies? Empty Exploding box dies?

I'm not even sure Ive got the right name for them, but was thinking about making a box which has photos in and the flaps all fold in. Did I imagine it or does anyone know if a die exists for this? Just looking to make a few gifts this year :)

Not sure if there is a die for them but they are easy to make, unless you want a fancy edge. Start with the largest size sides you want, try to be sure you get the four sides and base in one cut from a 12"x12" sheet, and reduce each layer by however much you decide to make it, stick base layers together and lid for lager size. I did a few a few years back and got messurements after a googling and now there is Pintrest aswell. Lynda might have measurements to hand.
Good luck and enjoy doing them they are adictive.

Got to add here, my dictionary is now packed and my spelling gets very, very bad when I'm stressed, so many apologies for the bad spelling.

Gill put exploding box into the search box top right of page and you will get details to a link that gives measurements. I did some years back, quite easy.

I agree, no need for a die, would be expensive anyway as you'd have 3 or 4 sizes of essentially the net of a cube with the flaps and one side removed. plus a lid.
Looking forward to seeing what you make. I haven't made one for years but they are impressive.
