Thanks, everyone, I'm sure the girls would be delighted to hear your comments.
The workshop was done at the Wensleydale and Swaledale Handicraft Guild, Cath, which is an offshoot of the WIs in the two dales. I discovered it online soon after we moved here and you can attend the quarterly meetings even if you're not a WI member. They soon got to know I was a papercrafter and had run workshops, so asked if I could do one now and then. I've also done them for WI branches, usually where one of the members has been to one of my workshops at Guild and recommends me to their chair or booking secretary. You could probably approach some of the local WIs and ask if they are looking for craftspeople to run a workshop for them. It is hard work, though, usually with relatively little return, and you need to have project packs made up for the maximum possible number of attendees even though only a handful may turn up.
