Wow these are beautiful. Maybe the unuseable ones that are sharp you could put on pins instead and attach to keyrings or bag decoratoins.

Sorted! I treated myself to an electric bead reamer before I went away; it gets rid of the odd 'sharp' bit (I am a sucker for gadgets!).
