Re: CJ CHAT
To keep you all updated, I'm gonna hand over my CJ to Cynthia on the 13th when I see her for a craft workshop (metal embossed book if your interested).
Re: CJ CHAT
What a palava my pages were to do, I'd left a bit to do and I've done it now but I'm full of cold today and no energy so it's been a bit of an effort. I've just got to take photos and address it.

Re: CJ CHAT
I will not procrastinate and leave every one f these until the very last minute, grr, it's not like I haven't known what I was doing, although the actual journal has been done since the start of January, the fact that I have a monthly crop should help me keep on track!LOL
Re: CJ CHAT

Re: CJ CHAT
I really, really didn't want to send mine, lol. It was a wrench, Steph. No matter how many of these I do, I always get upset that it's going to be a year until I see it again, lol.
Hope Cynthia has time to do it, Kate but I figured you'd probably pass it on by hand.
Still, looking forward to getting Kim's. At least I know nobody will have done my artist.

I rang Cynth yesterday and she says she'll have plenty of time to do it, esp as she wasn't on planning on doing until the week before (the woman has all her craft swaps planned like a military operation in a book lol). Also she knows the theme, so she can prep before hand

Do we see Cynthia on the forum?

Yep. She's Mistyrat.
I'll only allow active posters in the CJ's now, Karelyn.

Re: CJ CHAT
I've just opened Kim's.
It's very different and unusual. I've not seen one done like this before, it's excellent.
Your rules have pole-axed me a bit on colours, so I'll have to change my plan, but I'm sure I can still fit my artist in somehow. (I hope your rules don't include colours in the actual paintings?) Thought I'd best check.
Nice one, Kim.

Re: CJ CHAT
no ,you can use whatever colour you want to on the sample paintings ,as i have done in my samples from monet but if it really causes bother ,stick with creams as back ground or something similar .
see what i mean about ruining the covers , disgusting they are . cant wait to get it back and replace them ,if id just left them alone instead of trying to give them a glaze ...... gggrrrrr!!
yes it is a bit unusual in its style ,isn't it ??

Re: CJ CHAT
I'm done with Kim's.
Good luck all of you with this one. Trying to work out which pages are yours (thank god for Kim's numbers) and how it all folds back together again. I got a sheet of paper upside down, lol.

Re: CJ CHAT
well as I said on the other thread, Helens journal has arrived with me and i must say Im impressed - Steph you have done a fabulous job there and Helens was glorious too. I know what I am going to do now. I was a bit worried about this one but you two have done it so nicely, it is going to be a smashing book.
Im a bit concerned because both Stephs journal and Helens are already HUGE! Steph, I am so sorry this is costing you so much to post, I couldnt believe how much Helens had cost you. Is everyone finding them alot larger and more costly than last year or is it just these two? Last year Bobs' got very big but the rest were not too large. If they are all this big, Steph and I are going to need bankloans to post them!
Anyway, thank you Steph for the little extras you put in, you are so sweet to me. I cant see that either you OR Helen herself have completed a sign in tag on this one, and I couldnt see that you had completed one on your own journal before that either. Do you want me to send you one of the sign in tags from Helens and you can fill it out and send it on to the next person to get Helens (Tina) or shall you wait until the end and send it direct to Helen?
