I think the card kit is just a swap, thou it is to be done at the retreat. But the stash baggie is a challenge and will be judged, so yes it will be on show I guess, as we all have to vote. I was just wondering that was all, if our names on the bits was important. Don't want to get it wrong QUESTIONS - Page 11 Icon_wink

Oops, sorry Cath, yes, it is you, I have met Helen too, and am a bit muddled with this double retreating business. So sorry, I haven't book you (or Helen) a breakfast, but you can do it on arrival.
I'm off at about 11 this morning for this weekends retreat, photos hopefully arriving via my trusty postie before that, if not a bit of a panic print will be going on soon!

LOL Billie. I know, thank goodness I have the car. So far I've got a trolley with all my boxes and tins of bits, not huge trolley though. A bag with 12x12 wallet in, a bag for stuff for other people and to sell and a bag with my bigshot and dies and bind it all in. That bag alone is heavy.

Mind you if I were travelling on train I wouldn't only be bringing the trolley and wallet bag.

well im not gonna put on here what im taking !!!!! eek i daren't cos dawn wil not pick me up .we were laughing when loading dawns car up for my 1 day crop yesterday .we said imagine what we will be like next weekend with clothes and toiletries as well and a big cake and some cupcakes Rolling Eyes

wondering if the cupcakes will make it to the retreat or not as dawns are yummy ones lol!

I am a bit behind with getting stuff ready, had hoped to make a start after putting the washing in from holiday yesterday but have been too ill to lift a piece of paper, feeling better today so will start this afternoon...i have all week off so will be fine.

anyway just rang them and
1...there is a petrol station nearby
2...ive asked for green top semi and fully skimmed milk to be in the room for drinks anyone drink full fat and we can buy a pint or ask for it i suppose .
3...there is a fridge in the room we will be in all day
4...we have no time limit on room so we can scrap all night if we want to do so

Can't remember seeing anywhere whether we can access the meeting room on the Friday afternoon, like we did last time? Quite handy to offload the craft gear there rather than the room.

as soon as the rooms are free then we can have access ,i dont know yet if they are being used friday but i did ask for early access but generally i was told meeting finish about 6 ish sdo we will at least be able to offload our gear then ,maybe earlier

So I don't need the cool box then,good oh! If we can have the rooms in the evening, just a thought, it would be cheaper to have our own drinks in there after we have had our meal. We can buy them from Tesco's and it would be so much cheaper. Plus we would be able to hear ourselves talk to each other better too.

Like I said, red wine looks just the same as coke if you put it in a half-pint glass. I did that in a retreat hotel for an entire weekend and the staff never noticed that i only bought one diet coke in three days QUESTIONS - Page 11 569346

Not sure what the white wine drinkers will do though....
