Re: Guilt and Stress-free Christmas card swap
This is the beautiful (non stress free NORMAL Christmas) card I received from Steph complete with a super 'Crafty' rhyme inside. Super Iris folding Steph and I love your layering. Thank you.

Re: Guilt and Stress-free Christmas card swap
I received your card to the group Lorraine, thankyou it's lovely.
I should've said this in the above message but was too eager to go and put the scanned pic in the gallery, anyway it's there for you to enjoy too.

Re: Guilt and Stress-free Christmas card swap
Mine is finished and will go into the post today! Whoever gets it can you please take a piccie and put it in the gallery, I ran out of time!
Re: Guilt and Stress-free Christmas card swap
I did about 75 of the iris folding ones Joy. One for my crafting
friends on here and friends and family. I did but some charity
cards for 'the rest' and most of those have gone. I can't remember
when I started the cards but they took several months, but I was
pleased with them.

Re: Guilt and Stress-free Christmas card swap
I read that Steph thought the card was to be sent from all of us, rather than addressed to all of us, so I checked the first post on here:
"You sign up for the swap and make just one card, with a message inside intended for not only the recipient but everyone on the Forum. Once the sign-up date is passed, I will let you know who you should send your card to. The person who receives the card then posts a picture of it on the Forum, together with the message that was inside. This way, you will be sending your Christmas card and message to everyone on here and you won't then feel you have to send cards to loads of others in the group."
Thought I must be going mad for a minute, but no!
Hope no-one else was confused - but it's a bit late now, as they've all been posted!

Re: Guilt and Stress-free Christmas card swap
I knew it was my fault Lynda and no one else's. I read these things and think
I have taken in what it said. All I can do is apologise to my recipient and everyone else,
and under the circumstances, am glad I sent my own cards out.
The other day I spotted a £5 voucher for M&S in my Sunday paper and e-mailed my
friend you lives in M&S. It was only when I went to put the voucher up safely
that I realkised it was for Debenhams. See - that's what I mean - bear of little
brain

Re: Guilt and Stress-free Christmas card swap
Oh dont be daft Steph, and stop beating yourslef up about it... after all, you have sent marvellous individual cards to everybody as well. We shall just imagine that it is to all of us and please stop worrying about it. Anybody can get the wrong end of the stick and ive not known you to before anyway... Please stop fretting, we shall all enjoy the card whatever it says, but you'd have to go some to beat the lovely card you sent me!

Re: Guilt and Stress-free Christmas card swap
Oh, please don't worry, Steph: I just panicked in case my instructions weren't clear! I did have another query earlier on, too, so I really began to think I'd messed up.
You're not supposed to stress about it - that's why it was called stress-free!

Re: Guilt and Stress-free Christmas card swap
Yep that was me, so you're not alone Steph, this time of year particularly it's easy to get confused, and at the end of the day worse things really do happen, crumbs you made enough wonderful cards for everyone you're the l;ast person to worry. Have a lovely week, I guess you've finished yours now.

Re: Guilt and Stress-free Christmas card swap
All the cards are looking lovely so far, but I am quite sad to think that I won't have any to look at at home. I always enjoy the handcrafted cards from everyone on here.
