Re: you CAN do it challenge 1
love that card kate , very elegant !! and i am liking seeing the cards as well , hopefully a lot of the challenges i set will be able to be used on cards .lo's ,atc's and altered work too , but unfortunately not all of the ones i have planned fit into that . when that happens i might set another similar challenge for the cardmakers among us

Re: you CAN do it challenge 1
Very classy, Kate, and your layout is great too, Maria. I don't usually look at the layouts, not being a scrapper, but the two on here are a fantastic idea as they fit so perfectly with the colour combination.

Very elegant card Kate, and liking the LO too Maria, out of the comfort zone maybe but the talent is still there, very chic.

Here's my effort for the challenge. The tree is done with white pearl embossing paste, not decided what greeting I will put on it yet though.

Re: you CAN do it challenge 1
Wow there is some great LO's/Card coming from this
Very tempted to alter one of my pictures in photoshop & try a LO, though I'd have to go buy some black/white/red scrap paper first lol
Loving the buttons you've used on your LO Patty
Amullree, your card is very classy, it's almost christmassy, very sophisticated christmas!
Maria, loved the paper you used on your LO & the kitty picture!

Sue - love the card. You could easily adapt it for a Christmas card. I can just imaagine it with
some baubles on it.
Patty - that is fabulous. What a handsome boy Tim was. I would be surprised - no shocked-
if I wasn't impressed by one of your LOs.

Great card, Sue, and layout, Patty - there must be something about this combination of colours that really produces striking compositions. If I can only get my craft room straight (have been sorting out the junk my friend in Co Durham gave me and cutting up old LP inner sleeves - don't ask) then I must get my brain round this one.

Love the dragon Billie. That seems really different for you. Hope you
enjoyed making it.
Di - I thought that about Billie's photo.Perhaps Lorraine can do it when she returns
although I still think it will under Lorraine's name.

Re: you CAN do it challenge 1
Sorry Maria - didn't answer your question.
The design is half of an A4 printed sheet. I loved the image and have been
'hanging onto it' like we crafters do, but was pleased with the result.

Re: you CAN do it challenge 1
Billie - I put a message on the daily thread. I did ring Lorraine earlier
and spoke to Betty. She said Lorraine was with her granddaughter and
wouldn't be back until late, so I assume she is babysitting Mia. She
hadn't been on since Saturday and I was getting concerned.
Hello Goaty Where you been all day ?

And finally, here is my ATC.There are three separate images and they
are raised but it doesn't show in the photo.
I am really pleased that I completed the challenge on three
different mediums. Thanks Kim.
