Re: Digi Images
Well I caught the digi bug, spent a couple of hours mooching around lots of the images, gosh there are so many, eventually chose one, ordered, paid and received image straight away....lovely.... but when I coloured them, I was so disappointed becase the black ink ran. OK, so this was cheap ink in my printer, so this morning Dave changed to genuine HP ink for me and although not as bad, this ink leaksd as well. Considered standing real close to page as it comes out of the printer, with embossing powder, but to be honest I think my printer is too slow for that. Does anyone else have this problem?

Re: Digi Images
Jan I found that happened the first time I printed and tried to colour something. now I leave it to one side for a while to dry fully before I colour in. I think it was Kate mentioned it and so far so good. My ink is only refill stuff.
I tend to print a number of images on one page and then it might be the next day I colour.

I always leave mine for 24 hours if I possibly can Jan, if you need it in a hurry try going over it with your heat gun.

Well I never thought of the heat gun, will give that a go. Also, will leave a lot longer in future.
There are so many of those images out there, found more than I could ever afford. Lots and lots from US.

I have, I got rosie from there that Ruth did the card of, dancing heffalump. She's got some gorgeous stuff. So far though I think my fave I've got are from Charmed Cards etc., a lovely selection of boy and girl ones. They arrived immediately, karen's doddles and pollycraft both took about half a day.
I too found loads an loads I loved, but I restricted myself to just a few. Have been colouring in the ones today I printed this morning first thing and on Saturday. So far so good. Need to make a few cards with them now

I'm getting quite a collection of links in my digi sites folder now.
No point in me repeating about letting inkjet ink dry or use your heatgun is there?

Re: Digi Images
Karin, that junkie site you posted has a few cute baby ones.
I've had some for quite a while from Two for Tuesday and one is a lovely baby wrapped in a blanket. If that's not the one you've found, I can send you it. It's called Bundle of Joy.

Re: Digi Images
Yes lorraine thats the one. It gorgeous isn't it. Now I really do have to practice my colouring, skin tones are not my best one also saw one on one of the sites (can't rem which now !!) that was a hand holding a baby foot, but that was a purchase one. Need to practice skins first before I go down that road

Re: Digi Images
I bought that pack too Kim. On the second of my unicorn ones I used blush, as it comes out a sort of yellowy skin tone, similar to my hands
Not really used the others, suppose I should do really !!!

Re: Digi Images
I use Ivory and Pastel Pink at the mo. It's not perfect, but it's the best I've come up with. The pink blends quite well on the cheeks and for a little bit of shadow at the hairline.

Re: Digi Images
I like blush (old PMs) and sunkissed (new PMs) for skin tones, normally with blossom underneath (draw a little blush dot where a cheek should be) the skin tone
Re: Digi Images
Well I used two diff ones tonight on my little boy I coloured. Blush and Pastel Pink. I found all the skin tones (turns out I'd bought both !) and marked a corner of the spare card with them all to compare them to the back of my hand. So many colours on our skin its amazing.

Re: Digi Images
Now I see I dont like ivory as I think it's too pale and tend to use it for wedding dressed (with blender over it!).
