Which paper ranges do you like?
I've just been browsing various stores and it could be my mood but nothing took my eye, it all seemed samey or I couldn't find things to go with them. Any recommendations for anything, not vintage or distressed?
It's for my Book of me album.

BASIC GREY, K&CO, K&CO, K&CO and then Crate Paper, My Mind's Eye and some lovely stuff by Rusty Pickle who unfortunately look like they are going out of business.

Difficult one to call - I think Patty's said the main ones.
I hadn't heard about Rusty Pickle Patty - what a shame.
Craft is one industry that's booming, so it's disappointing to
hear they are in trouble.

I like K & Co too, but Bo Bunny do some lovely ones, Gillian that I think would suit you.
Also, although not strictly scrapping, take a look at Papermania. They have a whole range of matching papers and embellishments that are acid free but could be used with a cardstock backing. The 'Capsule Collections' are gorgeous. Take a look at the new 'Sunshine' Range. I got the goody bag for £14.99 with £30 of stuff in it and it's gorgeous.
You can find some to look at here.GLITTER POT
Papermania do 12 x 12 too.

Re: Which paper ranges do you like?
Oh, and I forgot to post on here that K&Co now do a "recycled" block of cardstock. I bought a red set and a brown set at the retreat and you get EIGHTEEN sheets of DOUBLE SIDED good quality plain card, all co-ordinating shades of the colour you choose, and you also get "designer" covers with them so you can use them as templates, colour them, emboss them, etc.etc. and ... wait for it ... they only cost £4.85 a pack! Fantastic value - I don't know where you get them from other retailers, but I got mine from Scrapshed at the weekend. Am chuffed to bits with them.

Are rouge de garance still around, they had some stunning papers a year or so ago, but can't remember seeing any recently.
Apparently Paris Hilton has a range, which amuses me, even though I haven't seen it.

Re: Which paper ranges do you like?
anything I have lots of different papers, cheaper to single sheet costs. I've just bought Funky Vintage from Dovecraft range, and it has that vintage feel, but very bright in colours too. Lovely.
DCWV i do like theres, but not seen anything for ages.
another thats gone into administration is RedHotBed, though they've merged now with PPS Grasmere, goodness knows what products they will do now. Lots of their little kits not available any more.

Re: Which paper ranges do you like?
Isn't that RHB Michelle Marsdens lot Karin? Mostly 'push it out and stick it on' stuff with no real crafting skill involved. Every new kit looked the same as the previous kit they'd produced.

I always liked Michelle Marsden. She always made me smile. Kits were a bit cute
and not my thing but her blank cards were very good.

Don't know Di, don't know that name. IS she on CC or something like that. They do have deco stuff, but also sheets of toppers. Panels, theatre, clutter cards. Not bad stuff to be honest. Quick and easy stuff.

Re: Which paper ranges do you like?
Yes she used to be on C&C quite a lot with various kits, started her own online shop as well but it didn't last long before she gave it up as she said she was too busy with other things.

Re: Which paper ranges do you like?
Thanks you all, I've been popping on here and looking around when I could.
I ordered the papermania goody bag Lou, it looks gorgeous, got some glues too.
Yes now that I've looked again I love Daisy bucket, bo bunny and most of the names you've mentioned, what makes it hard to shop though is I wanted a coordinated range, it takes the hassle out of shopping for matching embellishments. I'll probably buy Daisy bucket papers when I find bit to go with it.
I came across the docrafts site, I rather like doodlebug love spell and they have it for £7.49 but the £4.99 postage put me off.

Re: Which paper ranges do you like?
Yeah they just arrived and are gorgeous, you get a lot in the goody bag, I hardly ever used yellows and oranges so it's a new challenge for me, I like the colours anyway.

Re: Which paper ranges do you like?
Not my usual colours either, Gillian but I was so impressed with this and all the embellies you get. I've already made a card using it (in the gallery) and now I'm using some of the papers on a box.
Where did you actually get your goody bag from?
Mine was from GRAFTON CRAFTS. They have free postage too.

Re: Which paper ranges do you like?
I got that goody bag in a local shop last week, it is full of lovely goodies.
Re: Which paper ranges do you like?
I found Grafton crafts but they didn't have everything I needed so I found another craft site I'd never seen before www.starblaze.co.uk where I ordered from.
