I may have to pull out too, will let you know by the sign up time tho'. Our Uni course starts next week and I am not totally sure how much work is involved. I don't have time to do anything now so it will be worse by the time that starts.

Di - I'm sorry to say I'm going to have to pull out as well. I've done no crafting since I went down with this bug (end of August) and I don't know when I shall feel up to it again - it's enough just to do the necessary things each day at present. I have a mini-album to make with the pictures of the golden wedding we went to, my best friend's 60th birthday mini-book for December, most of my C*******s cards, plus other things I must get round to (like packing up all the CDs of the Craft Weekend 'photos).

It's a shame it isn't starting till, say, February - hopefully I might have caught up with things by then!

I am really sorry Di as I did really want to do this, but I will have to pull out. THere is a lot of work involved in my Uni course, beginning to wonder if I have done the right thing signing up now! So I don't think I am going to have time to do this swap without feeling preasured. Sorry for letting you all down.

Oh dear, I feel awful about joining this group of 'pullers out' but I also feel I cant commit to such a long term project. My list of monthly craft commitments is getting longer and longer and that takes the joy out of it. If anyone particularly wants a page of my details i will do some when you are all done and send them out to those who want them.

sorry to mess you about but I feel its better to say now than give up halfway through

I think this shows that if you have a long sign up date people rethink. I hope Di has seen this and I have to add that I am finding my course hardwork at the mo and we have only had one session!!So I am rather glad I have pulled out.

I would much rather people had the time to think about it and pull out before we start, than deciding a few months in that they can not do it. It is a long term project, which is why I wanted to give people that time to think. Will draw up a final list in a couple of weeks. Then we can get started!

I'm going to have to pull out as well Di. I really am sorry but with all my commitments already and school work piling up I know I just haven't got the time.

Di - I am having to become another "dropper-outer" on this long term one as things are rather unsettled and I do not want to start something I know I will not be able to finish. I feel sad, because it is such a good idea, but perhaps if there's something similar in the spring, I may be able to commit more seriously. Hope you'll forgive me!!

Di - I'm just wondering - perhaps we ought to have this swap after Christmas. It is
quite a big project and with Christmas in between I would have a job to get it done.
What do you think ?

I'm wondering if it's got to be that tricky, I was thinking of getting all the writing bits done on the pc once at the beginning, then just decorating the 3 pages each time, is it more than that?

The actual pages can be as simple or complex as you want, just as long as they have all the written info on them. It is a big project, in terms of length of time it will run, not complexity. If people would prefer to wait until christmas is over and done with, then that is fine. Will go with the flow.......

I am going to be postponing this project. Work is hectic, and my work life may be turned upside down soon. I may be transferring to another hospital. Am not cancelling completely, but will be holding off till the new year........

A good idea to ask about this thrifty as I had forgotten it anyway. But I have my own version now so I won't be joining in if it does continue..
I think Di will have to put a new list up to confirm those in or out of it.
