Immobilisation Results..... Lots of piccies
hehehehe. The only good thing about breaking your shoulder blade and immobilising yourself is that you get to play with beads as long as you like lmao!
This is what i have been making.
Pattern from Issue 100 Bead & Button Magazine 2010 Pattern by Nancy Sebestyen. Adapted the pattern by adding beads to the outside edge to make the design construction more stable and instead of using crystals for the middle section i used 3mm czech faceted beads in Gunmetal Lustre & Silver.
In hindsight, i wish i had used a contrasting pearl instead, as you cannot see the design very well, i think that using such similar colours was a bit too much. Before it was constructed, the bead colours did look quite different to eachother, never mind, i will have to make another one hehe.
Thought it would be a nice present for my mum for Christmas.
This is a set my mums friend placed an order for...

Carol, they're gorgeous.
That bracelet is just beautiful and I wouldn't change a thing. I know if it was for me, I'd prefer it like it is and you CAN see the design.

I agree! I like them all, but the top one is lovely, and I love the colours you have used on the third one down.

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date

Well I love em all, you are so clever and so much inspiration there. Love the bracelet, the trio bead set for the friend, and the bookmark. Think I might have to do something like that with the few metal ones I have left. I delibertely didn't use them before because I wanted them to look different.
Well done carol
