Craft Stamper Empty Craft Stamper

Post by cb Sun 8 Apr 2012 - 20:57

Does anyone have the issue from August 2011? If so I'm trying to make the book card on page 46 - Delictae Folds where you have to concertina card and merge/interlock the 4 sides for the concertina. Managed to fold and I'm having problems getting sides to stay together before I have to glue them. Thought someone may be able to help.

Would you believe I recently made a template for one of these and I've sold a few too, lol.

Glue one corner at a time Cath. I put a bit of glue on each side of the fold and hold it squeezed tight before doing the other corners.

Also, on a few more difficult ones, I used a liquid glue and just squeezed a bit down the gaps when I was holding them - not too tightly that the glue won't go in, but not too loosely that the folds will fall out.

Here's the finished article made for Sarah's 21st birthday. Need a bit more practice with gluing the pages together though, a bit fiddley that part. Sorry the last one's a bit blurred.

I think I remember seeing that and thinking it's too complicated for me, well done, looks wonderful. I should think she was thrilled.
