Village Life
It's so long since I did any scrapping which is a pity really as I've just finished the hols, never mind though a UKS challenge go my mojo going again. It's been going quite a bit in the hols but other things have kept getting in the way.
Journalling reads; Grateful for living in a village where people sell their surplus garden or allotment produce at roadside stalls. The cash is left in open boxes and people are trusted to be honest.
I bought the lovely runner beans and apples from the allotments this morning and the raspberries from a stall by Ivy's gate. I often think we're lucky in living here so it's good to record that. I may whinge, but it's a good life.

Love the layout and the sentiment it encapsulates even more

Re: Village Life
Lovely layout, we have loads of allotments round here and they all have produce selling days, plus there are a couple of small farms that sell eggs, potatoes, pumpkins and other bits and bats.

I love that phrase Ruth; 'Bits and bats', I'd love to buy them. A good idea having a sale/market day.
