Re: New year swap?
well im out of time, No gallery yet and Lorraine hasnt been on i dont think, never mind done that so I will have to put it up here. After tomorrow im not around till early Feb. If a gallery becomes available perhaps someone can move it. If not then psot them up here and I will look forward to seeing what you've all done when i get back.
I made the card into a sketch and then did THIS scrapbook page from it. Its called 'my estagnet' because Estagnet is the name of that lake we were at and it was also his 'pseudonym' when we met online, ie he called himself Estagnet. Anyway, here it is

Love the story, I was thinking I might use it as a sketch too, let's see how differently mine turns out!
Super photo and great BP choice.

Re: New year swap?
Right up my strasse, Alison, and it's lovely that you've managed to enter the challenge even thought you can't get to most of your stuff. I love the big snowflake: do you know which one it is?

Re: New year swap?
Ooh, I like that, Di! Chevrons caught my eye, too (great minds and all that). Good how you've used the colours as well.

Re: New year swap?
Great picture, too, Cath! Like your big splash of colour echoing the snow/sky split from the original card. Might actually get a chance to do mine now.

Re: New year swap?
A lovely card Lynda, mine is sort of made, will take a picture tomorrow, I know it's a bit late but this January definitely has not been conducive to crafting, ha ha.
Re: New year swap?
All lovely.
Crafting plans gone to pot, Molly had her phone stolen last night so have been dealing with the fallout from that today.

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date

Re: New year swap?
Loving all of these. Great that we are all doing something together again, I wont mind if the busy or poorlies put theirs up late if you do get to do it.
Tina, hope fallout is sorted without to much hassel and that she is ok as its not a nice thing to happen.

Re: New year swap?
I subscribed to 6 issues of Making Cards to try and inspire me, it has to be said I have not been impressed with them especially so will go back to Pintrest for ideas but these were some of this month's papers so included some chevron Washi, an animal (well sort of ) and the curve in the middle of the card which is mostly covered.
