This is most beautifully embossed with delicate swirlings of light frosting and each individual letter is also decorated. Inside the card is decorated with Christmas Tree papers too.

The word "splendid" comes to mind - not a word I use often but it seems to fit this. Looking forward to seeing the message.

Sorry but there wasn't a message as such, just a merry christmas to
Patty and Ken from the Canny Crafters. As already admitted, I got
the wrong end of the stick on this.

Post by lyndaejane Thu 11 Dec 2008 - 16:04

How about you put a message on this thread, Steph, with what you would have put if you'd been sending the card to all of us? It won't matter that it wasn't written inside Patty's card, we shall all still read it on here. Or you could PM it to Patty and she could edit her first post here to put the message underneath the card where all the others are.

That way, you could stop worrying about it - I so wanted this swap to help everyone avoid worrying!

Post by Guest Thu 11 Dec 2008 - 18:52

My message is this :

This group and members have become an intricate part of my life. I would
be horrified if I had to decide not to come here, for whatever reason. Even
though I haven't met you (except Goaty) I feel I know you all as we share so
much about families, funny events, illnesses, sad times and of course, our crafting. I
love our swaps and you have given so much too me as someone who finds it
very difficult to leave the house and consequently your friendships have become
very special.
Some of us have had a rotten year with sad losses, medical and family problems,
so here is hoping that 2009 is going to be better.
Happy Christmas friends and a very happy 2009.
Steph
