I am getting even more excited, if that is possible..and hey...i dont have to fly to see you all...bonus!!1
I really don't enjoy flying at all. However, it means i have to drive eeek...lesser of 2 evils. what a silly puss i am,

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date
Re: RETREAT CHATTER..
this is a lovely idea, and I have said yes of course. It also lets them have a pit stop while I put my small bags in the car.

Re: RETREAT CHATTER..
I wouldn't have been offended if you had said 'no' though Scatty; some people don't travel well in other people's cars. (Like me for instance; for a start I can't hear what people are saying and spend my entire journey bent forward straining to hear. Plus I like to be in control of the ventilation (ex-boyfriends parents from my teens used to try and cook us all in their car, made me sick!).).
Anyway, it'll break up the journey nicely. Plus if we are overladen we can throw a few bits out, like they do on hot-air balloons

Re: RETREAT CHATTER..
No, that wouldn't work, she's only short, so we wouldn't gain much space.
I posted on Lou's 'easel card' thread, but people might not see it.....if anyone has a couple of copies of Craft Stamper that they would be willing to bring to the Retreat, I would love to have a look at them please? I will make sure thay are returned in the same condition before we all leave to come home. (Can't get hold of many magazines round here ).

Ooooooooo my tummy is nervous. I have a list a mile long and am very slowly working my way through it. The car needs a good check over as its squealing breaks again and I worry constantly when driving on the motorway at the best of times
But am I excited, you bet ya !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Re: RETREAT CHATTER..
Have dug out the big sheets of paper for covering the tables: will bring 22 so there's enough for one each plus the odd 3 for the "tutor's" table. The good news is that there looks to be enough for the next retreat.....

Re: RETREAT CHATTER..
Managed to hopefully wangle a few extra hours off work on Thursday afternoon (time owing) so I can do my final packing and take Malcolm out to get something for his meals as Tom won't be around, only to take me on Friday and collect me on Sunday.

Re: RETREAT CHATTER..
Well my brakes are on and off squealing, but we've decided that all being well martin is going to check it out tomorrow and if it can't be sorted I am going to be taking his car. Better economy as its more miles to gallon, and its got a CD in it
Having said that it always feels slow compared to mine, and its what you are used to driving isn't it.

Re: RETREAT CHATTER..
I think I will make a large pizza to bring with me instead of cake, as there is a fridge in the room so it will keep ok and be there for part of the lunch for anyone who likes. What do you all think?

Re: RETREAT CHATTER..
OK, I now have a pile of alcohol inks, distress inks and gubbins to go with them. I have a bottle of blending solution Karelyn, so you can use some of that if you need to.
A stash bag with 5 items, a black and white 'kit' I've made up and a tin.
A page with 20 photos of me on, yuk
I've also got a pile of 'stuff' to rak/ sell/ etc.
So, got to finish twinchies, sort out a card kit, sort out colour 'spot' stuff that isn't really a spot, bits for altering my tin, get bookbinding stuff together, mmmmm, and then in my other bag all my basic equipment and other things to do. Good job I've got all day although I do need to plan my first week back at school as well before I go so it is ready for Tuesday morning (Monday is a training day). Better get started then.......
