Re: INCHIE SWAP...with a difference????
Mine are all ready for posting but I have to get them to a post office if I want a POP receipt. Unless I just pop them in the post box opposite.
What do you think anyone?
They won't go untill Monday now anyway.

Re: INCHIE SWAP...with a difference????
Personally, Nona I can't see the point of a POP unless the item is of monetary value. I doubt the postoffice would see it that way, so I don't bother for stuff like this.
Karin...I'm sooooooooooooooo sorry, hun. I've just opened your envi properly and found the gorgeous card inside that you made me. I'm glad the DS link was of use to you and yours, hun. Thank you so much for the card, it's really lovely.

Re: INCHIE SWAP...with a difference????
at least people know they have really and truthfully been sent that way Lorraine. I feel awful that i sent Helens atc for january off at the very very beginning of the month and she still didn't get it. I did make her another one..but its not the same as getting the first one sent.
If i had a proof of postage i wouldn't feel so bad as i could proove it was sent.
but i see what you mean...the post office told me i was on a loser as i hadn't got a proof of postage.

I rarely get a POP as Den usually takes anything for the post before he
goes to work and the PO side of the newsagents isn't open. Lorraine is
right that there really isn't much point in POP. The best way to prove you
have sent it is to take a photo. Mind you I forgot with my batch of ATCs that
I sent to Nona earlier in the week,

Well, you know, Sue. If we don't trust each other to have sent stuff we've said we've sent by now, there's no hope for us is there?sp01goat wrote:at least people know they have really and truthfully been sent that way Lorraine. .
Still, I know people do like a POP, so it's up to you Nona. There's no rush to get them here, hun.

i never get pop for stuff i send to people on here , unless its an expensive item which is not often , if ever .
like you lorraine i feel as if we are trustworthy peeps who do as we say we are gonne do , maybe not on time ( some of us....well ok , me ! ) but we know we would not con anybody and say something had been sent when it had not .
i always get pop for ebay stuff though

Proof of Postage Maria, a form that is stamped at the P.O. when you take them in to post. It is free.
I always do this when posting the return ATCs PINKY's

Fanku.
Nona, yours are here. They're great and yes, I laughed at how you'd happened to put them on the card, lol.

Re: INCHIE SWAP...with a difference????
I've received another lovely set just now. But...to save me looking through the RAK's list for postcodes can the owner put her hand up? They are very, lovely yellow ones but no clue as to sender. Actually, doesn't matter, I'm sure they're Kim's.
Could I also remind you to please put in a return envi and postage!!!!

Re: INCHIE SWAP...with a difference????
OMG Did I put postage in mine when I sent them ?
You know me - I have a blank about putting postage in for some reason.
I always forget, but I hope I didn't.

Re: INCHIE SWAP...with a difference????
I'll give you one guess, Steph but you're forgiven. You've much more on your mind, so DON'T send it.
Anybody else that forgets, don't worry about it either but remembering would be good.

Phew wasn't me this time though I've started to put my crafty bits inside the return envelope which always helps lol
Kim if you take the postage over wouldn't it be simpler just to pick them up lol

Re: INCHIE SWAP...with a difference????
I posted mine on Wednesday.... they werent as nice as I had hoped, I hope I hadnt got the wrong idea about how they were supposed to be done... half the time I couldnt seem to get things to take or stick, and this is the second set too.If you think they are too ropey Lorraine then please pm me (save on the public disgrace eh) and I will have another go.
I did however remember to put postage and envelope in.

I'll let you know when they arrive, of course.
At to 'ropey' I doubt that very much. Nothing has been yet.
You're worse than me, you are.

Re: INCHIE SWAP...with a difference????
A lot of us crafters are tight fisted especially my PINKY users. The P.O. still don't think they need franking sometimes ! Are they colour prejudiced, or just men !
