Re: QUESTIONS
Yes, I have always taken my own red wine as I simply refuse to pay the hotel prices. I am quite good at putting a glass inside my coffee mug to carry it around!! Ken and I always put G&T in a lemonade bottle to carry about with us to avoid this same problem.

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date

Re: QUESTIONS
Can't rem if it was on here or not, but Jo suggested that we take our own drinks anyway and go to our room for a good natter and drink. Save on costs of the bar. Did anyone else see that bit, or did I dream it.

I didn't see it, but it's a good idea - except - are the rooms bigs enough to accomodate
loads of us at a time ?

Certainly not sure we'd fit in my one person room
No, I'm pretty sure Jo meant the hire room. After all if we have got it all the time, and can use it as late as we like, we could have our own little party there. Not that we can't use the bar, but if we took a little bottle of something we like, it would probably do most of us the two days.

Re: QUESTIONS
Yup thats what I meant Karin, thought we could do it after our meal. Was just a thought anyway. Nobody had answered so I didn't think you wanted too
Re: QUESTIONS
Yes Jo, Mia and I are definitely up for it and she is bringing me a bottle of my favourite red from France (I hope!)

Re: QUESTIONS
If there's any questions asked, maybe we should tell them that it's an evening crafting session - after all, there are all-night crops, aren't there?

Re: QUESTIONS
I would love to be able to get into the crafting room after 6pm friday if that was ok and didn't inconvenience anyone or cost extra. it would be a hoot x
Its still a bit chilly for our usual out in the beer garden exploits lol x
and i have a bottle of wine i was given for my brthday called 'Goats do roam' a kind of play on the Cotes de rhone i reckon..and as long as i have lemonade to make a spritzer, i can drink anything...i know its sacrilege to drown good wine..so thats why i usually have cheapo stuff lol

I'm happy to go with the flow as long as it's not too late because of
my insulin - so whatever is most popular.

Re: QUESTIONS
Probably best to let them know Kim, so hopefully we can eat together. I don't mind when and then we will be heading back to the craft room I guess.

Re: QUESTIONS
Can we use the room late? Last time there was a caretaker person type on the desk and assume they finish at a certain time
What time can we check into the Premier Inn?

Re: QUESTIONS
On the agenda, Kim dinner is at 7.30 and when I spoke to them, she said that Taybarns will expect us all together.
Still, best you double check, just in case. I don't want to be Billy no Mates 'cause I'm last to leave the bar.

Re: QUESTIONS
7.30 it is then for dinner .
As for the crafting room i think, I'm remebering right, by the sound of things from the booking stage the room we will be having is in the hotel itself, Steph I think it was said that her room (for sleeping) is near to it so she doesn't have far to walk. So not out and across the carpark this time. I hope they have got us all near to the craft room then no other guests can moan if we are noisy, I meen chatting till late. Good we were loud at the first canny retreat in the bar Now don't forget the black staws girls

Re: QUESTIONS
Alison !!!!!!!! You're the first to mention the straws that I've seen Bet Lorraine thought she'd got away with it.
I like the idea of food at 7.30pm. We had two sep tables in one area didn't we last time. I sat opposite Lynda I believe. Good idea to re check though.
I sort of figured from something Kim said, that we have access to the room 24/7 as she said we can craft as late as we want. Maybe its just a case of pick up the key from reception.
Hopefully as was said, we can get our stuff into the room on the Friday night, as Kim said it depends if there has been a 'thing' on and it will need cleaning by staff first. Then we can have it. If there isn't a 'thing' does that mean we might be able to do it in the afternoon instead Kim. ?

Re: QUESTIONS
Right, apologies if this has been asked before, but I'm only just getting my head around this lot, and we're on 12 pages of questions....
For the card kit, do we need to include a stamped image or suchlike, or can the recipient add their own stash/ images?

Re: QUESTIONS
..are people allowed to 'add' to the kit once they have it? I don't want to put too little stuff in, but if they have to use everytihing, I don;t want to overload the bag either!
