QUESTIONS - Page 3 Empty Re: QUESTIONS

Post by karinlouise Thu 5 Nov 2009 - 21:04

Ok I'm asking this as it occured to me when I was reading out the prices to my hubby.

We have quotes for Breakfast and Evening Meal but......

What are we doing about mid day meals. Do we nip to tescos for sandwiches with a few nibbles.

I know some people can probably go nearly all day without food but i tend to need something every 3-4 hours.

Although I can't for the life of me think what we did last year. Did we actually break for meals. Of course, just realised we had that buffet downstairs didn't we. Dopey me again.

So whats the plan this time then gals xxx

we have not decided yet to be honest i think it will be a case of if you want anything then nip to tesco which is close by or a meal at the pub , or we could bake cakes and pastries ,take some fruit and share it all .

Karin, have you read all the threads, hun? There's not many, but you'll see that most things have been mentioned somewhere.

We do have to provide our own lunch, it just hasn't been decided how yet. Mr Green

Will we be making anything for swaps, for example last time we made ATC's and pages for a CJ?

Anyone got any ideas? I know it is early to be thinking about it but I need as much time as possible to make sure I get everything done QUESTIONS - Page 3 Icon_biggrin

I think both were mentioned but not sure when or by whom. Think I could do ATCs this year, but sadly wouldn't have time to do CJ.

QUESTIONS - Page 3 Empty Re: QUESTIONS

Post by gingerjo Sun 3 Jan 2010 - 22:29

KIm, Ruth asked somewhere about transferring money to your bank account if possible. I wanted to know if this was possible too?

You do not get charged as far as I know and Helen did this last time. Personally it would be a lot easier than cheques for me as there is never any money in the cheque account, and I would hate it to bounce! Plus cheque won't get lost in the post either, lol.

There is no point in anyone telling me to leave enough in it either as I have a hubby that spends money like water out of said account.

Anyway if you could let us know when and how much for def you like I can transfer it straight to you through the bank.

It won't be long now you know. QUESTIONS - Page 3 Icon_cheers

QUESTIONS - Page 3 Empty Re: QUESTIONS

Post by karinlouise Mon 4 Jan 2010 - 10:18

Bank transfer sounds like great idea, ignore my question on other thread. It would also be easier for anyone wanting to pay a bit at at time cos if its the same as my online banking it remembers the details for another time.

Though Kim, maybe an account you don't use loads otherwise it'll be mixed, that would totally screw me up, my accounts are bad enough Mr Green Mr Green

QUESTIONS - Page 3 Empty Re: QUESTIONS

Post by karinlouise Mon 4 Jan 2010 - 11:04

I was meaning that if it were me getting money from other people I would have to have seperate account, cos I am one of these that likes that bank to be just so....I could never do a didlum or lottery for other people as I don't like thinking about having to look after someone elses money. It was nothing meant against your accounts or anything.

As for more than one account, I have three separate accounts, one with Martin, one for housekeeping and a saving accounts. Thats all I was meaning.

I am happy to pay how ever you want, no problems at all from this end, money already saved.

Should not cost you anything Kim if I thought it would I would not request it, all we need is you sort code and account number which as far as I am concerned will be deleted as soon as money has been sent, oh and a reference, for instance 'Billies retreat payment' that then shows up on your account so you know whats what.

yes Kim, that is exactly how it works. It doesnt cost you anything and people go into their own internet banking and merely make the payment themselves. The money is credited to your account in a couple of days.

You just give the people paying you (by pm) your sort code and account no.
