Re: New Year, New Start
My bad! I got my days mixed up too, so mine has gone off this morning. I've taken a pic, Scatty.
Have got my super one from Ruth though. Thanks, hun. Love it.

Re: New Year, New Start
I started having problems with landscape 'photos and scans, Cynthia: they were coming up turned through 90 degrees, even though they were the right way up when dispayed from the file itself. Never found out why,

Re: New Year, New Start
I think post is a lot slower these days in general. They do say anything up to 4 days first class now.
Our post is only collected once a day from our box now instead of regularly throughout the day I guess this could explain why post is taking longer.

Re: New Year, New Start
Steve posted mine to Jo last Thursday, at 10.09am, first class, at the sub-post office, and it's still not there - we never use the box up the road from us, as there's only one collection a day and it's at 9am (what use is that?).

Re: New Year, New Start
I used to post at 4.30 and it was there at Mum's in Kent by her 7am post.
Now when I post (our only collection at 4.30) 1st sometimes arrives next day and sometimes doesn't.
How can 4 days be 1st class, that's ridiculous.
Sorry to say it but RM is not what it used to be.

Re: New Year, New Start
I wish I'd taken a 'photo of mine, Maria, as I've already said I'll make Jo another one if the original doesn't arrive by the end of this week. I haven't got all the same pieces, either, and not sure I have the same section of the backing paper, which had some time quotes on it and in the right places.

Re: New Year, New Start
Good news Lynda, IT'S HERE!
I can't put a picture on with my phone and going to work in a bit so will have to pop it on later.
Gorgeous, worth the wait!!

Re: New Year, New Start
I'm so relieved, Jo, and glad you like it. But where has it been these last eight days? Did the envelope look like it had been trapped in some machine and they only found it yesterday?

Re: New Year, New Start
Just to say im sorry Caths still hasnt turned up, I will make a new one and send it, just as soon as I get my head straight but there is a bit of a delay as I am rather in a muddle here at the moment both emotionally and physically.
I will make one though, and will send it as soon as I can

Such a pity Maria, and it's always a bit harder for you to get things all organised for us, did you post it from UK? x

Re: New Year, New Start
It doesn't matter if you leave it a while, Maria: don't worry yourself, as it may yet turn up - eight days for first class within the UK (think I could have walked to Lincoln in that time) could mean a couple of weeks or more from France. Post is rubbish at the moment.
