Re: New Life (hopefully)!
Thanks, girls!
I can't wait till I can feel a difference in my clothes ....... and can fit into a smaller size. Right now, I'm still hovering between a 22 and a 20. I'll feel a real sense of 'getting there' when I can comfortably fit into an 18!

What they all said, you're looking better already, definitely less tum and prettier in purple too.

Re: New Life (hopefully)!
Martin came to take me through another workout this morning. I always think I'm going to die by the end (seriously!), but this time I wasn't sick and my recovery time is definitely getting shorter.
He wants me to carry on doing the workouts at home every other day for the next two weeks and then he'll come back to do more.
Tim will be starting his weight training, as well as his cardio sessions, from next week. I'm just not quite confident enough to go to the gym yet.

There you go see it is paying off, you look good in the photo's alot less tummy showing from all photo's so in two weeks your recovery will be even better. Go Bobs, Go Bobs, doing the arm movements with the chant..... well I would if I wasn't typing LOL

Re: New Life (hopefully)!
I've lost another 2lb and am now down to .......
16st 7lb!
I'm in a kind of quandary now though. I will have to see Martin about changing my diet and excercise regime to that of a runner training for a marathon. Until I see him again though, I will carry on doing what I've been doing.
Tim is seeing him at the gym just now, so hopefully, he will have arranged an appointment for me.

Very well done again Bobs - I am sure Martin will be able to give you a regime for both losing weight and training for the Marathon, so keep at it gel! xxx

Phew, rather you than me, but full of admiration, and what a goal, great to have something to aim for. Will certainly look out for you one the tele. Hope you burn off extra calories running through the winter.
Congrats on further weight loss.

One more pound and it will be one and half stones, Jo!
Here is Tim's progress so far. This is how he looked in August:
This how he looked yesterday:
A bit of a difference, I'm sure you'll agree! He's started doing weights now at the gym, as well as keeping up his cardio sessions too.

Well done, It's good when you can see the difference isn't it. Can't help thinking Tim might be cheating slightly; shorts must weigh less than jeans LOL.

Re: New Life (hopefully)!
Weighed myself this morning and I'm down another 3lb to .......
16st 4lb!
That's 1st 9lb all together so far!
I think I'm actually beginning to see a difference in myself now.
I'm off out for a run soon. Moving into the second week of training, so I'll be doing "run 2 mins, walk 1 min" repeated 7 times.
