Maria, your lovely book arrived too. I was going to do that exact theme, so glad I changed my mind now.

As for fixing mine, I think I'll have to make a new cover. I'd done one with a spine, but the bottom half of the book is too thick and it doesn't close properly. Only problem is, I only had one sheet of the paper I'd used.

aww glad it arrived and its ok. I was a bit worried you would get rather alot of that theme. I was limited as I too have very little double sided paper.

Umm I would love to go to the crop but even with a sickie i still couldn't go cos Jim needs the car.

i think im having withdrawal symptoms as i missed craft club from mid december til last tuesday cos of christmas then the snow . i will be ok .honest ! its the company more than anything i miss .

sounds like a good idea ,anyone else up for it .
actually steve and jason have just removed my fireplace and the house is full of brick dust and messy ,so if you can put up with that .....im up for it .

Mine is finished. Spent all afternoon and evening making it, it went better then the last one I tried to make. But last time I used double sided card and now I can see it was obviously too thick and caused all sorts of problems. It was good to make something I enjoyed doing rather then something I had to do.

Mine is probably a bit different to what you're expecting for a theme Lorraine, so if need be you can send it back to me as my swap as I love it I'll post it next week.

Well, this damned thing has been a nightmare!!!!! I should have stuck to the basic folded one, lol.

My first cover didn't fit, so I made another one. That didn't fit properly either. I liked the second one and was determined to use it, so had to come up with a plan. Decided to make some inners.....3 before I got it right. Honestly, I don't know what was wrong, I've made shed loads of these things before, lol.

Anyway, it's finished but it's not perfect so I'm not 100% happy but I'm sure it'll do.

Of course it will. Anything from you will do.......definately from me, I always love seeing your creations.

But....we are never happy with our own work are we. Always worrying.

lorraine i found a video on youtube where someone made this same book with a cover.

For the cover,she measured a piece of cardstock at 4-1/4 x 7. You will score this at the 3-1/4, 3-1/2 and 3-3/4” marks to form the cover. The middle score (3-1/2) gets folded inward or valley fold, the other scores go up in a mountain fold. hope this helpsl
